Property Profile Report.

ROLE: SENIOR UX/UI DESIGNER

Summary.

Property Profile Report’s unique property search tool provides you with unbiased information on nearly every property in the U.S., regardless of whether it is currently for sale or not. As another brand under the New American Funding umbrella, management wanted to make their own version of Zillow, which will then push users to New American Funding's mortgage services. However, Property Profile Report's difference is their comprehensive property details and home estimate function.

Process.

Worked closely with the V.P. of Marketing and researched competitors in the market. The idea behind the design was not to simply copy Zillow or any of the other competitors, but rather give it a formal report look and feel. We also brainstormed ideas to push New American Funding's mortgage services within the new site in a non-intrusive way.

Goals.

Property Profile is meant to give the user a vast amount of details about properties, not just for sale, but all homes in the United States. The point being, to engage with all types of users in the home market, not just buyers, but people looking to refinance the home they currently own. Once those users are engaged, they are then pointed to New American Funding's mortgage services.

Solution.

Much like the competitors, the user will eventually end up on a property page with an extensive amount of details on that property. Also like competitors, there would be a side card with brief property info and mortgage information. However; unlike the competitors, the mortgage information would be drawing data from New American Funding's mortgage algorithm, and a CTA would push the users to New American Funding's landing page. Here is where New American Funding would gain new leads.
